Acculign motorcycle products offer a fit and finish that is uncommon in the after-market motorcycle parts industry.  I often wonder how those who don't own a machine shop manage to attach most after-market products to their motorcycles.  It usually requires at least a grinder to get the parts to fit well. The finish on such products not only shows a lack of craftsmanship, but a complete disregard for anything other than speed of manufacture.  When the finish is poor and the part doesn't fit well, the integrity of the entire product is in question.  I operate a one-man machine shop, and personally manufacture each piece of my products (often down to the fasteners). I am patient in my work, from saw cutting raw material to final assembly, and in doing this, I can achieve a high level of quality control.

I grew up with a machine shop at my home, where I learned to manufacture the turbine alignment tool found elsewhere on this site.  In my twenties, I cut my teeth on CNC machines making parts for Austin's high-tech industry.  The semiconductor industry is notorious for the tight dimensional and surface finish tolerances called for on their blueprints.  I try to bring the lessons learned in achieving these tolerances to the manufacture of my motorcycle products.  To do this requires time and patience, which, when coupled with the small size of my operation, limits the range of products I can offer.  I am currently focused on Ducati® and Aprilia® motorcycles, but I hope to expand this range as opportunities arise.  Please browse through this web site and contact me at mark@acculign.com with any questions or comments.
